Danny Pelfrey is a writer and teacher from the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Iowa Writers' Workshop. His work has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic, and The Paris Review.
