Both Washington and Wilson were excellent students. Washington was particularly interested in mathematics and surveying, and he became a skilled surveyor. Wilson was a gifted orator, and he excelled in his studies at Princeton University and the University of Virginia Law School.

Military Career

When the Revolutionary War broke out in 1775, Washington was appointed commander of the Continental Army. He led the army to victory at the Battle of Yorktown in 1781, which effectively ended the war.

Wilson did not serve in the military during World War I, but he was a strong supporter of the war effort. He gave speeches in support of the war, and he helped to raise money for the war effort.

Political Career

After the Revolutionary War, Washington was elected to the Continental Congress. He served as president of the Continental Congress from 1789 to 1797.

Wilson was elected president of the United States in 1912. He served as president from 1913 to 1921.
